Terms
Terms of Service
What you are buying, what we promise in return, and the one section that protects your Google listing. Written plainly on purpose.
The short version. You buy a plate once. It sends your customers to your Google review page. We test every card by hand, change your link free whenever you want, and give you ninety days’ notice if we ever stop.
In return, do not pay people for reviews and do not ask only the happy ones. That is Google’s rule, not ours, and breaking it can get your listing suspended.
Who you are dealing with
Tap2Review is a business run by Arjun Shailesh Bumb, at Flat No. 1, Plot No. 5, Sr. No. 103/126 Nagar Road, near Park Ornate Hotel, Yerwada Pune, Maharashtra 411006, Maharashtra, India. GSTIN 27ISPPB4156K1Z8. You can reach a human on WhatsApp at [to be filled in] or by email at tap2review.help@gmail.com.
Using this site, claiming a card or buying one means these terms apply to you.
What you are buying
A physical plate or standee with an NFC chip inside and a printed code on the front. A customer taps it with their phone, or points their camera at the code, and their browser opens your Google review page. That is the whole product.
The card carries a short link that we control, which is exactly what makes it changeable later without reprinting anything.
What it is not
- It is not a Google product. Google, Google Maps and Google Business Profile are trademarks of Google LLC. Tap2Review is not affiliated with Google, not endorsed by Google, and not connected to Google in any way.
- It does not write, buy or supply reviews, and it never will.
- It does not decide who is allowed to leave one. Everyone who taps goes to the same place, whatever they are about to say.
- It does not promise you a number of reviews, a star rating, or a position in search results. Nobody can promise that honestly.
The review rules, which protect you
This section exists for your benefit more than ours. Google removes reviews for the following and, when it keeps happening, suspends the business profile outright. A suspended listing costs far more than a card does.
- Do not offer anything in return for a review. No discount, no free item, no lucky draw, no loyalty points. This is the one Google enforces hardest.
- Do not ask only the customers you expect to be happy. Ask everyone the same way, or leave the plate on the counter to be noticed on its own. Filtering people by mood is called review gating and it is against the rules.
- Do not stand over someone while they write. Leaving a plate on your counter is fine and is how the product is meant to work. Pressing a customer to write one in front of you is not.
- Do not hand over a shop phone or tablet. Reviews should come from the customer’s own phone, which is how the card is designed to be used anyway. A shared shop device posts everything from one connection and gets the reviews stripped.
- Do not point a card at a listing that is not yours, and do not use one for a business that does not exist.
- Do not set staff a review target, or tell them to get reviews that mention a particular person by name.
A card being used to break these can be switched off. That is not a threat for its own sake. One merchant gaming reviews through a Tap2Review link puts every other merchant’s card at risk.
What we promise you
These are on the front page, which makes them terms rather than slogans.
- Every card is tested by hand. Each chip is tapped with a real phone before it is packed, and the link on it is opened to check it lands on your business. A card that does not read on arrival is replaced free.
- Changing your link is free, always. Same day, no charge, as often as you like, for as long as the service runs.
- No charge you have not approved. The Free plan is one payment, with no subscription and no renewal. Pro is the only thing that renews, and only once you have approved it yourself. Nothing switches off because you ignored an email.
- Ninety days’ notice. If Tap2Review ever shuts down you get ninety days’ warning and a list of which card points where, so your codes can be pointed somewhere else. Your cards will not simply go dead one morning.
Your card key
Every card comes with a key printed on the packaging insert. It is the only thing needed to change where the card points, so treat it the way you would treat a password.
- Keep it somewhere safe. Anyone holding it can repoint your card
- It is printed once. If you lose it, message us from the number registered against the card and we can read it back to you after a check
- Lost it, message us from the number registered against the card and it can be reissued after a check
Damage caused by somebody else using a key that was left lying around is not something we can be responsible for.
Buying and paying
Plates are sold on this website and over WhatsApp, and delivered by courier to any address in India. The price at checkout is the whole price: delivery is free and nothing is added afterwards.
Payment is taken online through Razorpay, by UPI, card or netbanking. Your card or bank details go to Razorpay and are never seen or held by this website. An order is confirmed once the payment has gone through. Delivery and replacements are covered on their own pages, linked at the bottom.
The Pro plan
- Pro costs ₹99 a month or ₹990 a year. Its acrylic plate or upright stand, with your logo, is free.
- You pay the first 3 months (₹297) or the first year (₹990) at checkout. You approve autopay in the same payment, and your paid time runs from the day you order, with 10 days added for delivery.
- After that, Pro renews by UPI Autopay or card. We never charge a renewal you have not approved.
- Minimum term. Because the plate or stand is free, Pro has a minimum of 3 months. You pay all of it at checkout, so there is nothing left to owe when you stop.
- After the minimum, stop whenever you like: cancel the mandate in your UPI app or bank, or tell us. Your plate moves to the Free plan when the period you have paid for ends. You keep the plate or stand, it keeps working, and changing where it points stays free.
- Refunds for Pro follow the refund policy: before your plate is printed, what you paid is refunded in full.
Uptime
The redirect is hosted and normally available, but it is not promised to be perfect and there is no service credit. Every card also carries a printed code, and your Google listing can always be reached by searching for it. The ninety day promise above is the real protection here.
Liability
Tap2Review is a small business selling an inexpensive physical product, and the terms say so rather than pretending otherwise. Where the law allows a limit, our liability for anything connected to a card is limited to what you paid for that card. Nothing is owed for lost business, lost reviews, a change in your Google rating, or a decision Google takes about your profile.
None of this limits liability for fraud, or anything that cannot be limited under Indian law, including the rights you have as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act 2019.
Ending it
You can stop using a card whenever you like and ask for the record to be deleted, which switches the card off.
We can switch a card off for the review rules above, for a chargeback or an unpaid amount, or if a card is being used for something illegal. Where there is time, there will be a warning first.
